I had the opportunity yesterday to have a few girls over from the church community group my husband and I host to have a little beauty night! We had so much fun. I have always thought Dez, mother of two of the cutest little girls ever, is just so naturally gorgeous (without any makeup, lucky girl) and couldn’t wait to try some makeup on her for fun, seeing as I haven’t seen her done up. I was so happy with how it came out. I didn’t want to overdo it on her because she isn’t used to a lot of makeup, so I tried to use a pretty light hand. She is just stunning!
Here is what I used:
1.Mask Before Makeup Application: Andalou Organics Pumpkin Honey Glycolic Brightening Mask
2.Base:Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream
3.BB Cream: Bobbi Brown BB Cream in Medium which was slightly too dark but I didn’t have anything that matched her skin perfectly. It basically just warmed up her skin a little bit once I blended it. I applied it with Bobbi Brown’s Full Coverage Face Brush.
4.Blush and Bronzer: Nars Blush in Orgasm and Nars Blush in Zen as a bronzer
5.Concealer: Benefit Erase Paste in Medium applied with Sigma Soft Blend Concealer Brush
6.Eyes: Urban Decay Naked Palette (allover wash of color Sidecar which is beautiful on her green eyes!) and lined the top lid with Bobbi Brown Gel Ink Liner in Caviar Ink which is a brown black because I didn’t want to shock with a liner that was too black. For the lower lash line I mixed Halfbaked and Smog on an angled brush (from the Naked Palette) and just kind of wiggled it a little ways towards the tear duct but not the whole way to keep it looking more light.
7.Brows: Anastasia Brow Duo in Medium Brown and used the lightest color just to slightly shape them
8.Mascara: Covergirl Lash Blast Volumizing Mascara in Very Black after curling them with my Shu Umera Eyelash Curler
9. Lips:Loreal Lipstick in Fairest Nude
10. Setting Powder: Makeup Forever HD Microfinish Powder
Also, Dez is one of the co-founders of Well-Pressed Handstitched Goods, which I reviewed here. Her adorable hand stitched note pads, note books and note cards have such fun, happy patterns and are the perfect option as a stocking stuffer or gift for friends and family in the upcoming holiday season! Check them out 🙂
