This past week, a few friends of mine asked me which eyeliner brush I like the best. I have a lot of them, but decided to narrow it down to my favorite four. These four brushes all do different things, so I will start with my top pick as a must have, and then the rest are added options to achieve different things. Here they are in order, number 1 being my all time favorite.
I honestly think that if you own ONE eyeliner brush, this should be it. It works awesome for thin, natural looking lines, but also can do a thicker wing very precisely. I grab this one when I truly don’t have time to fix a mistake. I love that it is slightly pointed at the tip, which helps for winging out the outer edge. It packs on a good amount of product as well, without streaking jagged edges. I do recommend washing it after every use, otherwise you will have a hard brittle brush, which will end up causing mistakes! For a cheaper, similar option, try this brush.
This brush is SPECIFICALLY for my girls out there that love a good wing. This brush allows you to precisely draw the outline/shape of the wing with virtually no mistakes, and then you just fill it in with eyeliner gel, kind of like coloring :). You can get really close to the lash line, so it helps to avoid any gaps as well. It works well for making a very very thin line too, if that’s what you like. You can find a cheaper similar option here.
I love this brush for tight lining the upper water line. It also doubles as a brow brush. It is extremely precise and the top is very thin, so you can smudge gel eyeliner exactly where you want it without mistakes.
I love this brush for final steps, like blending out the eyeliner, tight-lining, fixing any mistakes, going over areas that might have gotten messed up by eyeshadow or applying eyeshadow to the lash line.
What are some of your favorites? Fill me in!!!
Have a great week!!! XOXO
