I sometimes like to do this look that requires makeup but doesn’t look like I’m trying too hard. Sometimes I get bored of having my eyes constantly done up or sometimes I’m lounging around the house with my hub and don’t want to look like a freak of nature with a completely bare face (although, he loves when I don’t wear any makeup which I am beyond understanding!). This kind of makeup can trick a guy into thinking you aren’t really wearing any but you are! Here are the products I used:
(I tightlined with a flat Laura Mercier Brush so you can barely see the line and softened it on top with a q-tip; check out the tightlining link to the beauty department, an excellent demonstration of how to do this!)
(I used the one on the far right and mixed a tiny bit of purple with it for the lower lash line)
I have links to all of these products. Bobbi Brown Gel eyeliner is my go to because you can literally do SO much with it. You can do a cat eye, really thick line and tightline all with one product just by using the appropriate tools. I am all about the right brushes. For this look, I used a Laura Mercier Flat Eyeliner Brush 25$ to do my incognito line for the upper lash line and a Mac 228 Mini Shader Brush 20$ for the bottom lash line. I also used a Real Techniques Contour Brush from the Core Collection 18$ to apply the concealer. Then, for the blush/bronzer, I used my all time favorite Nars Yachiyo Brush 50$.
Hope this is a helpful guide for you all to achieve a minimalist makeup look with some of my favorite things!! 🙂
